ATMeye.iQ is a comprehensive solution that provides additional safety and security for self-service devices that helps to protect against any type of criminal actions. The solution includes a video surveillance system and special sensors detecting any suspicious events and preventing fraud activities, theft or other type of attacks against self-service devices (SSD). Moreover, ATMeye.iQ helps with a quick resolution of possible disputes with clients and immediately notifies responsible employees of the bank staff about emerging problems. ATMeye.iQ protects more than 70,000 self-service devices in 78 countries. The system is fully compatible and can be installed at SSDs manufactured by Diebold Nixdorf (including legacy Diebold and legacy Wincor Nixdorf), NCR, Hyosung and others.
The system administrator has the ability to manage other users’ access rights, manage the licenses, import data from other systems, backup and restore information from the archives, monitor network status, schedule network activities, get comprehensive statistical reports.
The system operator has all the necessary rights and functionality to obtain the full list of transactions together with the information about client actions, retained cards or retracted cash as well as operational status for any self-service device.
The system security officer can receive instant notifications on all alarm events that is harmful for SSD: hack attacks, vandalism or tampering attempts, and many others. At the same time, the system provides possibilities to generate various reports with statistics of such events for analysis and further decision making.
* Bank receives a claim from a client. The client insists that the ATM didn't give him money. The responsible person from the bank using the advanced search (card number, ATM, date / time, etc.) finds photo-/video material associated with the client‘s transaction. On the basis of the information that is received, the situation is resolved as quickly as possible, thus the level of client loyalty is increased. Bank costs are minimal, because there is no need to drive to the ATM or to make a cash collection to resolve the situation.
The integrated system’s sensor detects attempts to place skimming devices and instantly informs the responsible persons. A bank operator and security officer in charge receive the message about the planting of skimming device directly at their work place. Furthermore, a senior security officer receives the same message on his mobile phone that has the Mobile ATMeye.iQ installed on it. Together with the text message every responsible person receives photo and video material with the picture of the suspect. This message allows for taking the necessary precautions and protecting the client’s card data. The photo and video material that is received increases the chances of catching the criminal.
As there are different types of sensors integrated into the ATM (including those for shock, gas, tilt, temperature, etc.) the system is able to detect illegal actions (or actions that occur near it) with the self-service device and to inform instantly the responsible persons. A bank operator and responsible security officer receives a message about the illegal actions directly at their working places. Furthermore, a senior security officer receives the same message on his mobile phone, which has the Mobile ATMeye.iQ application installed on it. Along with the text message, every responsible person receives photo and video information with the picture of the suspect. The message that is received allows for taking the necessary precautions. The photo and video material, including pre-record, increases the chances of catching the criminal.
If there is an attempt of using a card on the black list, every responsible person instantly receives photo and video material. A bank operator and responsible security officer receive a message about the illegal actions directly at their working places. Furthermore, a senior security officer receives the same message on his mobile phone that has the Mobile ATMeye.iQ application. The photo and video material allows for the analysis of the situation in real time.
In the case of a regular transaction, the server only receives a text message about what is happening with the self-service device. All photos and video material are stored on the hard drive of self-service device. If necessary, the operator has the possibility to receive all the necessary photo and video material both manually and in automatic mode.
